A Bucket List is a list of events we would all like to do before we “kick the bucket” and “shuffle off the mortal coil” or whatever term you care to use.
Unbelievably there seems to be an app for everything these days, and BUCKiTDREAM is an app that will help you list on tick off those dreams as they are completed. Using this app you can create a set of dreams and aspirations – we commonly call our bucket lists, as use them in conjunction with your social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter etc.
However, it’s not just YOUR dreams and hopes that are being shared and recorded but everyone else’s too. On the app you can give your dreams and aspirations a title as well as a description. One list might want to be the places you want to travel to around the world.
But it’s not just about making a list of dreams but recording a date next to them as to when you hope they will be completed – I created a weight loss goal where I aspired to lose 20 lbs in two years, next to this goal you can add pictures of yourself going to the gym, eating healthy foods and fitting into smaller sized clothing as you thin out.
In your goals and dreams where you might want to visit places like Venice, Paris, London or Madrid you could take images and upload them to your goals on the app. BUCKiTDREAM is for sharing your dreams; it is pretty useless if you have a dream, tell nobody about it and are left with little motivation to complete the task.
Your friends on social media are there to egg you on and encourage you to go forward and complete your mission, this app pretty much helps the motivation process.
Let’s say you want to run a marathon: after adding a new post you can update this goal by telling all your friends how you ran x amount of miles today in preparation and training for the big event and you can read all the posts from friends encouraging you to go forward and complete the mission. It’s called motivation.
The app also recognises that some dreams are more private and personal, so it’s easy to change the settings on some of your aspirations so that only you see and follow these bucket list goals.
