There comes a time when you do that spring cleaning, even if it’s not spring. You want to get rid of the old stuff that’s taking up space in the attic or the shed. If you own an old iPhone or you want to sell just about anything to get some extra cash, there are apps available that make things really easy.
Ebay (FREE): Everyone knows about the popular website that allows people to buy and sell unwanted items. But did you know you can sell without ever using a computer, simple and easy through the app. I remember when Ebay didn’t have an app, I had to take pictures of the item and then find a way to upload them to my computer. To be honest it was tedious. Now with the app, you can do everything from your iPhone; set the price, take and add pictures, and even choose if you want your listing to be an ‘auction’ or ‘buy it now’. Ebay app is probably the best one from this list but of course there are fees. The eBay app is packed full of features that make it easy to browse, buy, sell and manage your eBay experience whenever and wherever you are!
Gumtree (FREE): Own by Ebay Inc, Gumtree is another great and useful website to sell and buy items. Unlike having to package and post items, Gumtree pride itself on selling locally so items can be picked up by buyer at a convenient and appropriate place. Search millions of classified ads from across the UK and reveal a world of opportunity. We also have housing, pets, local services and more. And when it’s time to sell the things you’ve loved, you can put them on Gumtree with just a few taps.
Shpock (FREE): This is the newest from the list and it does seem to be taking off just well. The website is simple and the app compliments well. You can easily sell and buy things in your local area. “If you like strolling around flea markets and boot sales on weekends or spending hours browsing through classifieds, you will love Shpock. With Shpock you’ll find the most beautiful things in your neighbourhood and sell your things quickly to other people around you. Whether second hand, used, antique or simply beautiful, Shpock is always there as the SHop in your POCKet.”
