While browsing any website in Safari, you can add a new App icon for that website to your Home Screen. Tap the + at the bottom of a Safari page, then tap ‘Add to Home Screen’, this closes Safari and add a icon to the home screen.

If you’re going for a .com domain when typing an address in Safari, for example www.iPhoneGlance.com, you don’t have to type the www or the .com, simple type iPhoneGlance in the address box and you will still be taken to the iPhoneGlance site.

Domain Name Resolution. When typing a domain name in Safari it is not necessary to type in the www, http:// or .comEg. Typing twiter then hitting the ‘Go’ button will take you to http://twitter.comN.B. This only works if you have the default search engine set to Google, not Yahoo.
