Throw Em Balls, Simple, Challenging and Fun – iOS Review

Okay, so here is another entry into the games category that is supposed to be highly addictive and extremely entertaining; Throw Em Balls is created by Dean Wronowki and works off the very simply premise of just scoring with the ball. I have to tell you, I loved it. This is a game not trying to reinvent the mousetrap; it’s just a plain old fun mousetrap. There are five levels, with five different balls you have to work with: basketball, tennis ball, golf ball, soccer ball and a table tennis or ping pong ball. You have to complete the level tasks in the given time period before you can proceed on to the next ball and the next timed task. Once you have completed all the levels, then you can go back to better your scores. The game is also set up so that you can interactively compete against your friends via social media.

I can’t wait for the developer to keep building on his app. I think he needs to add some obstacles to each level. My idea would be perhaps adding “defenders” into the modules for soccer, basketball or adding obstacles like rocks to the golf module. How hard would it be in the tennis module if the ball was being blown by a wind, just like it does in an actual tennis match? I would also like to see the developer put the game on the actual iPad platform for better playability. iPhoneGlance gives this game 4 out of 5 stars and can’t wait to see how it keeps changing. It’s pure entertainment, worth the price of .69 GBP or $.99

iPhoneGlance Rating of Throw Em Balls is [rating=4]
