Soccer Puzzle League iPad Review

Soccer Puzzle League is the recently released app from Match3Studio. A Universal app but with a much greater experience on your iPad, Soccer Puzzle League is a connect three puzzle, RPG style and a strategy game all in one. This absolute addictive game got me hooked from the tutorials, yeah it’s that great.

Soccer Puzzle League pits you against the computer, where you find yourself playing and developing your profile by acquiring some defensive or attacking skills. Start off by adding skill points into your preferred category. Are you a defensive player when it comes to soccer, why not add your points in the tackle (TKL) category, or maybe you’re a sort of an attacker where you prefer to score goals. Then add the skill points into shoot (SHT) category. You also have a category call Damage Point (DP) where you can add your skill points to increase how much damage you can take. If you’re neither an attacker or defensive player then split the points between TKL and SHT to see where you end up.

The game is set on a match 3 board style. The way to earn a goal is to clear as many goal points as there are Damage Points in your opponent’s side. Your Damage Points is very important in your progression through the game. Your opponent will try to stop you by throwing soccer balls at you which is not good on your Damage Points. The key is to have the top score at the end of the match. Whoever has the top goals at the end of the game wins the match.

Soccer Puzzle League graphics are amazing. Simple and clear. The game takes a while to get the hang of, so we recommended following the tutorial. Playing on the iPad 2 gave me a bit more of an advantage. There is a lot going on, so having a larger screen was definitely a plus. Not to say the gameplay wasn’t amazing on my iPhone, because it is.

Best of all the price of Soccer Puzzle League is $0.99. For some beautiful graphics, an amazing gameplay and great fun, that is a small price to pay. You will love this app, go ahead grab it now.
