Furthermore, it colours them in to fit your mood with vibrant graphics and high resolution images. This allows the user to match the personal travel style and you can navigate all the cities using its free GPS services in a clear city guide map.
There are many hidden gems to uncover as Momondo Places has scoured the cities for all those hidden gems and handpicked the best 200 from each guide. More gems are being added all the time through a series of updates from local tourist attractions and sights, shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, clubs, bars and hotels.
To suit your own personal travel style you can sort each location with a colour of your choice to reflect your mood. All the great places are sorted according to its ambience. So if you are in Paris, France for example, you can reflect the ambient mood of romance. If you are in Copenhagen in Denmark just to try and meet new friends then sort the mood into Social. Perhaps you are travelling with children or your family, in this case select the Family mood.
When you select the Family mood, you will be presented with places that are full of fun, adventure and plenty of play time. Perhaps you are in London in England and you may want to visit all the local museums, architecture and famous sights like the Houses of Parliament or Big Ben, in this instance you could select Cultural. There is also a Local mood for those genuine experiences you may want to find in big cities like New York in the United States or Barcelona in Spain. Furthermore, if you are just out and about in the Italian capital city of Rome, you could select Fancy as your mood to get that luxury experience you’ll find from a number of swanky hotels.
The German city of Berlin is another big city featured in Momondo Places and the app promises more cities will be added in forthcoming updates. The latest version even features a compass pointer on the map and a proper location finder, making easy for you to seek out those hot places in the big city.
