It’s been weeks since the developer removed Flappy Birds. I’m one of the lucky ones that managed to download it before it was erased from the App Store. There is no signs of it ever returning. They are however alternatives, some good, some terrible. There is one alternative that is a must if you want to get a feel of Flappy Birds, it’s call Flappy Wings and you can watch the demo below to see the app running smoothly on my iPhone 5S. Flappy Wings does offer a bit more than Flappy Birds, for instance game center support and multiple backgrounds. You do also collect coins which allows you to purchase items that you can use to customise your bird. Check out the demo:
