Are you nimble-fingered? Can your fingers move faster than the speed of light? If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then Sort It will be too easy for you. But for those of us that have slow digits or even medium-paced ones, Sort It will be forever a challenge.
Your task in this game is to sort the different coloured packages in to their respective coloured chutes, as quickly as you can. You will be racing against the clock and if you are too slow, you will self-destruct.
The coloured packages are located in each of the four corners of the screen and at nearly all times you will notice the different coloured packages floating into your screen approaching at every angle and settling in any one of the four corners on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch screen. This is where you must use your finger to drag each different coloured package out of the corner and place it strategically into its rightful home and the same coloured chute.
It all sounds simple enough, you may be thinking but – there are bombs. These bombs have to be avoided. The bombs always self-destruct after just five seconds and any different coloured packages that are left over after the five seconds is up, they blow up and explode all the different coloured packages from each of the corners that are still remaining. This in turn causes them to force all of your packages into the wrong coloured chutes.
Now, once a certain colour package falls into the wrong chute, you will end up losing a life. So you must make sure you have no packages left by the time the bomb explodes as every remaining package will find the wrong coloured chute and you lose a life – a life for every single mistake. If you lose three lives then your game is over!
Revive and Clean Sweep form two parts of the game that can be purchased as in-app good buys. For example, if you have the “Revive” power up, then you will get given an increased time in the game. You can still keep on playing the game well after it is supposed to be over.
Another in-app purchase is the Sweep action where players can use a single tap of the finger to sort several packages into their relevant chutes all in one fail sweep. This is likely to give you maximum points by using just one single tap.
