If you are a Microsoft Outlook user, you know that you can’t use your mail on your device. This can be quite a hassle because of the fact that we are constantly on the go. We all want to have access to our email anywhere we are, anytime we want. Having this in mind, the developer Gyula Komar created an app especially for the Microsoft Outlook users. The app is called OWA Webmail and it is available on the iOS platform. This iOS mail client app can connect to an Outlook Web App (OWA) server and offer you quick access to your Microsoft Outlook account. Besides, it is easy to use, with well packed features and lovely user i

If you have access to a Microsoft Exchange server, you must be using Microsoft Outlook on your personal computer. The connection on your PC is provided by the company’s internal net. Being on the go, not in your office or home, you are disabled from using your Microsoft Outlook account on your device. To fix this problem, there is an extension that gives access on the Internet through a web interface (webmail). This interface is called Outlook Web App. The OWA Webmail uses this interface in order to allow you access to your own mail. Forget about all of the IT security issues and protocols by getting this app that doesn’t even sync anything with your device. All of your messages and contacts will stay on your server and they will not sync in your device. OWA Webmail can’t be used for Yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail, it only supports Outlook Web App 2010 (tested with version 14.3.224.2) and Office 365 (tested with version 15.1.99.6.
If you want to use this app, you only have to login. Just login with your Internet address (URL), with your username and password (they are provided by your IT department) and set it up. Make sure you know these three crucial and important data that are require of you before you set-up the app. When you enter your basic information, just press the OK button and start using the app. Then, you will be able to access the main menu, to click to open messages, to click longer for message popup, to change the sort order, to view your address book and open new messages, to refresh them and to change the mail folder, as well. Each message you open can be saved to drafts, deleted and move to junk. There are many other options, like reply, reply all and forward, go to the next or previous message, etc.
OWA Webmail offer you a web license that you can get with the in-app purchase. It can be found on the main menu – just click menu, about and then purchase and get the licensed app that has more advantages then the free version, such as supporting further development, removing the ads, removing app signatures and enabling attachment download.
