Apple Confirms Intel Glitch has Affected All iPhones, iPads and Macs

Now don’t go panicking, although Apple confirms that the flaws of the Intel processor known as Meltdown and Spectre could leave customers exposed to hackers. There are no evidence as yet that the flaws have been exploited by hackers.

The flaw which causes computers to dramatically slowdown whilst performing everyday task came to light a few days ago. The National Cyber Security Centre, warns that device users continue to protect themselves by updating any patches from the manufacture. It’s also possible that other companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google will be affected heavily.

Apple said it had released software updates for iOS, its phone and tablets software, macOS, used by its computers, and tvOS for its television products. The Apple Watch doesn’t seem to be affected by the flaws but you should continue to update your software. Apple stated that they will release an update for Safari in a few days.
