Summertime in the UK is coming to an end and we are covering those fits bodies with jackets and jumpers. However, that doesn’t mean that we should just go into hibernation, It’s good to visit the gym right throughout the year. That’s the reason why we want to introduce you to Esquared, a nifty app that allows you to find local gyms that require no membership.
People generally stay out of the gym during the winter months. That’s probably because they find it hard to shake those winter blues. Esquared wants to make it easier to get in the gym, book classes and enjoy your workout.
Esquared gives you the option to book premium classes and get free passes at your local gym. The good thing about the app is, you don’t need a gym membership. You simply look up the session and just pay as you go at some of the best premium gyms near you. The app allows you to quickly invite friends to train with you.
Before using the app you will need to sign up either with your Facebook details or email address. You’ll then be taken to a screen where you can select your location, this allows you to get workouts relevant to you. You can then select the type of workouts you’re interested in. At the type of this review, there’s 11 different type of workout, from yoga to cardio, so something to suit everyone. If there are no venues in your area the app tells you where the nearest one is to you. The venues are displayed on a map or you can select them from a list view. Once you find the venue and the session you’re interested you simply tap on it and either go ahead and Book it or view details of the session. Everything is handled within the app, from booking to payment. The list of gyms and the sessions available are endless. There are no excuses to pack away the gym gloves for the winter.
When you sign up you get a £20 credit so you can try the process before you actually fully commit. I’ve gone and book myself a beginner parkour class that last for 2 hours and cost only £20. Activities you can find near you are gym floor, yoga, indoor cycling, pilates, circuits, toning, cardio, boxing, dance martial arts and aqua fitness. As I mentioned, there is something for everyone.
The app is free to download, you do have to pay for sessions which generally range from £7 up to £30. I recommend you try Esquared this winter and do some indoor activities to keep fit and healthy.
