Does Ninja get Paid by Fortnite? He Answers your Question

Everyone who’s into gaming will no doubt know who “Ninja” is. That’s his streamer name but his real name is Tyler Blevins and is well known for streaming Fortnite on Twitch. Ninja has decided to spend some time with Wired to answer some of the top search questions about him. The 10-minute long video was full of questions based on Google search but one of them stands out more than all, Does Ninja get paid by Fortnite? Surprisingly the answer is No. I say surprisingly because I genuinely thought he got paid by Epic Games, Fortnite developers.

In the video when Ninja was asked if he was supported by Epic Games, he replied:

I have to really think about this, because I don’t want to misspeak. I don’t think I’ve been paid by them to do anything, ever. Other than what they’ve done for everyone like the Support-A-Creator code, and they didn’t pay me for that. So no, Fortnite has not paid me. Sad Face.

There are plenty of questions pertaining to Ninja and his personal life. Ninja was humble in answering the questions. Ninja also states that he streams up to 10 hours a day and if he doesn’t he loses subscribers. There are plenty of interesting facts from the video below. Go ahead and check it out.
