Samsung Officially Releases Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite

Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are two new premium-looking devices, but more affordable than the full-fledged originals. This will make both devices more accessible to wider audience who want to get some of the key premium features. However, despite the obvious connections, there are plenty of differences as well. The Galaxy S10 Lite uses a different display, the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen, similar to the one used by the Galaxy A71. Even so, the display is impressively thin with nearly uniform bezels and centered punch hole for the front-facing selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 32Mp resolution.

When you turn the Galaxy S10 Lite over, there are three lenses and a LED flash, with the OIS-equipped 48Mp sensor as the primary camera. Fortunately, the Galaxy S10 Lite is equally powerful with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and 128GB of internal storage. There are two variants with 6GB and 8GB RAM. It runs the One UI 2.0 on top Android 10. There’s only support for 4G LTE and the 4,500mAh battery should be sufficient for a whole day of normal use on a single charge.

In many ways, Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite look quite similar on the outside, although there are differences like the smaller camera module. Internally, both devices have different specifications and features. Bluetooth Low-Energy and the Note’s signature S Pen are two things that you can’t find in S10 Lite. Inside, there’s also the Samsung’s proprietary SoC, the Exynos 9810, which was used by the global version of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9. With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the Note 10 Lite allows you to multitask properly. For users who want better multitasking performance, a 8GB RAM model is available as well.

The Note 10 Lite comes preinstalled with the Android 10 OS and the same 4,500mAh battery. On the back, there are 12Mp primary camera, 12Mp telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and 12Mp ultra wide angle camera. For better image capture and video recording, the Note 10 Lite has dual-pixel autofocus and optical image stabilization. Color options for Galaxy S10 Lite are Prism Blue, Prism Black and Prism White. For Note 10 Lite, you can choose Aura Red, Aura Black or Aura Glow.
