The 3 Best Roulette Strategies According to an Expert

The objective of this article is to talk about roulette  and specifically to analyze what we consider to be the best 3 roulette strategies. We want to see the strengths and weaknesses in each of them. In any case, it is a particular opinion (it is I, Frank Scoblete, who issues it) so I am open to debate it.

But hey, the idea for now is to analyze the three best roulette strategies, which by popular vote are:

  • The traditional Martingale
  • Martingale “shoot and run” system
  • Paroli’s simple system

Roulette and craps are probably the two casino games with the longest pedigree and certainly the kings of the james online casino . But as we have already seen in an article dedicated to how to play craps , this is not a typical game in world; so it is better to focus more on roulette, be it the American roulette or French roulette version ; although also everything we explain here is applicable to the increasingly popular electronic roulettes.

We know that dice were first used as a system to find out what the gods had in store for people, especially in military or political battles or conflicts. This was probably five thousand (or more) years ago, and bones were used for this. Roulette had a similar function, except that many soldiers used their shields instead of dice, and the rotation of the shield determined the fate that the next battle would bring ….

Nice story that serves to explain that these instruments -the primitive roulettes- had an important function; although they gradually became a fun game for times of peace … In any case, that would lead to the fact that roulette was probably the first true casino game and was probably introduced in the Middle Ages.

Players have always tried to beat roulette with various roulette tricks and game systems . If we had a time machine, we could go back and tell them that the systems they invented and used, while fun, simply couldn’t give them a real mathematical advantage over the casino.

So, to the question of what were some of the most famous systems used by our ancestors to try to beat the wheel? I can easily answer that those systems of the past are still used today. Why are they still used? Because they are fun to play and structure a player’s game plan in a way that makes sense to the player.

This is very important so that you understand everything that I usually explain about roulette systems and strategies. So from now on, in my articles you will find the most inspired, fun and (sometimes) exciting ways to play roulette. Today it’s time to talk about three simple systems that can structure your game

The Martingale strategy for roulette

Those of you who have played in a casino, even only a few times, will probably have run into the Martingale system, even if you didn’t know the word Martingale. It seems that this is the first concept that most roulette players have and it is summarized in the following phrase: “I have to win sooner or later, right? Well, I’m going to bet using the Martingale!”

The previous sentence is, in fact, correct and totally incorrect when it comes to คาสิโน when using Martingale. We explain it below …

First, what is the Martingale betting system? That’s simple: the player doubles his bet if he loses a decision in the hope that “I have to win sooner or later, right?” So, it would go like this: the player bets 10 euros and if he loses he bets € 20. If you win the € 20 bet, you have recovered your original loss …

But don’t get too interested in playing martingale … Let’s continue: if the bet of 20 euros, the player will double € 40. If you lose, we raise the bet to 80 … like this until we must bet € 1280 … something that most casinos do not allow.

That means a losing streak of six, seven (or eight) losses in a row can probably sink the player.

My adaptation to the martingale “shoot and run”

You would use a Martingale-based strategy only on external roulette money bets, odd or even, high or low, red or black. These bets give the player 18 chances to win with 20 chances to lose at American double zero roulette and 18 chances to win with 19 chances to lose at European Roulette. Obviously, if we can play the European wheel, that should be preferred as long as the betting ranges match their bankroll.

We remember that if our first bet is 10 euros (or whatever the normal size of your bet) in one of the proposed bets, we bet on an even number. If we win perfect. If we lose that bet, we bet 20. Now, if we lose in the next one (€ 40) our losses will already be € 70 …

My goal with this adapted roulette strategy is to stay away from the devastating loss that Martingale eventually brings. Many times in the two spins you sit there there will be a winning spin, if you had bet it. But most of the time times it won’t. Remember that the casino has that advantage on all those even money bets.

My advice is precisely that: limit your bets to 3 tosses. In other words, if we are unlucky enough to lose € 70 in three spins … then we end the session. We can start again at another roulette or take a break.

If we put that limit with a bankroll of € 500, we will have € 430 left.

If we are lucky and we win the three initial runs, we also leave. In this case with a profit of € 30.

Paroli’s roulette betting system

Paroli’s betting system is another that many novice casino players think they have discovered as the magic formula. It is a positive betting system, which attempts to win money in a game where the player has been winning in the immediate past. Players in the Paroli system calculate that winnings will follow earnings. Sometimes it happens, but most of the time it doesn’t. Let’s not get carried away by hunches about it …

The Paroli system is nothing more than the progressive betting system used by many players; that is, they increase their bet after winning and their bet continues to increase as profits increase. In general, a Paroli player will make three decisions before lowering his bet to his original amount.

In other words, they bet € 10 on red. If they win, they bet € 20. If they win that second roll, they bet € 40 … Then the chips won are collected and the original € 10 is bet to start a new series.

We must bear in mind that, unfortunately, there are Paroli players who want to travel long winning distances by continuing to double their previous victories. In one of the best blackjack movies , where scenes from the roulette game (“The Player” or “The Gambler”) are also shown, the terrible result generated by using this method is shown.

My opinion on the Paroli system is to use the three-win method, but start it after the session budget has increased. So the first bet, if won, does not imply an increase in bets for the second bet.

Here we would have an example of a sequence to analyze with dollars:

  1. First bet $ 10 (we win)
  2. Second bet $ 10 (we win)
  3. Third bet $ 20 (we win)
  4. Fourth bet $ 40 (we win)
