Three more budget smartphones under Motorola brand have been leaked recently, the Moto G10, Moto G30 and Moto E7 Power. Details have appeared on Twitter, complete with case colours and hardware specifications.
The Moto G10 or the Capri comes with the Snapdragon 460 chipset. There are four cameras on the back, 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, 2MP macro and 2MP depth information. On the front, there’s 8MP front-facing waterdrop camera. The 6.5-inch display has 60Hz refresh rate with USB-C charging port, dedicated Google Assistant button and headphone jack. The 4GB of RAM should be adequate for casual mobile tasks. There are a couple of storage options, 64GB and 128GB. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh, with two colour options, Aurora Gray or Iridescent Pearl.
Moto G30 or the Caprip has Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, making it the most powerful model. There are three RAM/storage options, 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. The built-in microSD slot could further increase storage option. On the back, there’s 64MP primary camera and a 2MP sensor for depth information and macro. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera. Other details are 5,000mAh battery, Google Assistant dedicated button and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its 6.5-inch display 90Hz display should work more smoothly for gaming and interface interaction. Colour options for Moto G30 are Pastel Sky and Phantom Black.
Moto E7 Power
It’s the first “Power” model in the E-series. Previously, this suffix was for some G-series devices to signify the larger battery capacity. It comes with 5,000mAh battery, which is quite large for an E-series device. The MediaTek Helio P22 is low-end chipset, but it should work well for casual tasks. There are two variants of E7 Power, the 2GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. There are two cameras on the back 13MP primary camera and 2MP macro. Colour options are Oxy Red and Digital Blue.
Recently, the brand releases a high-end model, the Motorola Edge S. In fact, it was the first smartphone with the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, which is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 865+. It’s a 7nm chipset and octa-core architecture, including a high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 core clocked at 3.2GHz. This means that there’s integrated support for 5G data connectivity. There are options for 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage with UFS 3.1 feature for quicker access. The 6.70-inch IPS LCD display has 2520 x 1080 resolution, HDR10 and 90Hz refresh rate. On the front, the Edge S has 16MP primary and 8MP ultra wide-angle cameras. There’s an embedded fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. There is a 64MP primary camera on the back with 6k video capture and f/1.7 aperture. There are also 16MP ultra wide-angle camera with autofocus, ToF sensor and 2MP depth sensor. The 5,000mAh battery comes with 20W adapter. The Motorola Edge S comes with case, cable, pre-installed screen protector and 3.5mm headphone jack. It started shipping very recently on February 3 with Emerald Light colour. The cheapest model is 6GB RAM/128GB storage and the most expensive one is 8GB RAM/256 GB storage.
